1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Devoron platform (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Nature of the Service
Devoron is a credit intermediary and loan comparison platform, not a credit provider. We facilitate connections between consumers and NCR-registered lenders. We do not make credit decisions, guarantee loan approvals, or set the terms of any loan agreement between you and a lender. All credit decisions are made solely by the relevant lender in accordance with their own criteria and the National Credit Act 34 of 2005.
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Have a valid South African identity number.
- Provide accurate and complete information in all forms.
4. No Guarantee of Loan Approval
Completing the comparison form does not constitute a loan application and does not guarantee that any lender will offer you credit. Loan offers are subject to each lender's credit assessment, affordability evaluation, and the requirements of the National Credit Act. Rates and terms presented in comparisons are indicative and may differ at the time of formal application.
5. No Fees to Users
The Service is provided to consumers at no cost. Devoron earns a referral fee from lenders when consumers apply and are successfully matched. This arrangement does not affect the loan rates or terms offered to you by lenders.
6. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Providing false or misleading information may constitute fraud and could be referred to the South African Police Service (SAPS) or the NCR.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Devoron shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any loan agreement entered into with a lender on our platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
